Dec. 19-23
There will be no spelling words this week.
Dress rehearsal for the concert is Tuesday at noon. Your child is bringing an elf hat or striped clothing.
The ski trip is on Wednesday. We will be leaving at 9:30 and returning by 4:45. Students need to have a ride waiting for them if they don’t walk home. Students must be prepared for cold weather with snow pants, long underwear, mittens, winter jacket, and toque. Helmet it they are bringing their own. Please make sure they have a water bottle and lunch. There is a cafeteria with food available but it is expensive. Please go over the rules and responsibilities that are listed below with your child. We look forward to a great trip. The next trip is January 26.
We are going to have a gift exchange on Friday, December 23rd. Students are asked to bring a new wrapped gift, of a value of about $10, for the student that your child has the name of. Suggestions are included on the slip your child will bring home. We would appreciate receiving all gifts by Thursday, December 22nd to get things organized. We will be having a party the same day along with the gift exchange. If you would like to send a healthy snack, please write below what you will send:

We are excited for our upcoming Christmas concert. It is important that students attend school on Thursday and Friday because we are running the same Christmas concert both days. However, Gr.3-5 parents are invited to join us for the concert on Friday at noon (because of limited seating availability we cannot have all parents attend one day).
May your Christmas morning be filled with excitement and the rest of the holidays be filled with the peace and joy of the season.
