Stuntnastics 2011! on PhotoPeach
Today we were measuring humidity around the school. The conclusions we came up with were the dry and wet thermometers came up with different readings, the dry bulbs had close to the same temperature around the school, the wet thermometers were always colder, and the relative humidity in the school is fairly high.
"Poetry is a gift." We heard this line for a second time in our read aloud Edgar Allan's Original Crime Scene Investigation. As we work on capturing the essence in our sequence Heroes of Isles aux Mort, we are thinking about the big ideas in the story. Feel free to add your capture the essence poem to our blog or to write another "What am I?" poem - these were very popular on our blog and really tricky to figure out. We are still working on some of them:)
We were introduced to Sable Island today on our journey in Atlantic Canada. Often called the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" it is a place of mystery and interest with many unexplained shipwrecks that happen around it. What caption or symbol did you come up with for Sable Island?
